I have been a secondary school mathematics teacher for 27 years and have taught in both public and private schools. I joined the project in 2017 as a full-time doctoral fellow. My research is an investigation of teachers’ take-up of a mathematics teaching framework introduced to them in a professional development programme (Transition Maths 1). I assist in planning for the Transition Maths 1 course. I also help in facilitating a course for senior phase mathematics subject advisors.
